Description

Considerable advances on the hair. I've used 2B 3B 4B 5B 6B and 7B on the hair, mainly using layering (continual build up of 2B 3B 4B 6B etc). Also darkening of shadows and facial features. I've also extended his shirt with 7B. I'll need to use 8B to darken it a bit more. I've got to say that I'm enjoying working on this. Much to still do on this, especially with the skin tone as well as darkening the shadows. It feels a bit flat but i think I'll be able to iron it out.

It certainly helps to listen to Tom, Elvis, Des, Dean and Engel when doing portraits.

Wow great. Can I ask how do you get the facial alignment right? And how long the portrait takes?
